My wife and I had a great time visiting Puerto Penasco and staying at this unit in the Sonoran Sea! The resort is beautiful and has a heated pool which is nice in cooler months. There is a swim up bar and the resort is right on the beach. There are multiple restaurants within walking distance. We felt safe the entire time and the resort has great security. This unit is located in a prime location in the resort. It's on the second story and looks right out onto the pool and is one of the closest units to the pool and beach. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped, and the view from the balcony was amazing! Very relaxing and breathtaking to sit out on the porch with a drink and watch the sunset. The unit was very clean and well kept and we'd stay again for sure!

Recommended for: Families with Young Children, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Age 55+, Romantic Getaway, Families with Teenagers.

As usual our stay in this condominium at the Sonoran Sea was fantastic. The unit is always clean the Murphy bed is excellent, the kitchen is fully equipped, the view is spectacular, and the location of the unit by the stairs is so great! We love the little mini market at the resort as well as the accessibility of the two restaurants just outside the main gate. The pools are amazing and the beach is beautiful. There are many units to choose from Resort, but we always choose this one. Thanks for another great stay !

The condo was comfortable and beautifully decorated.....we would recommend renting to all out there. The on site restaurant was delicious and the grounds and pool very clean. We would stay here again! Sincerely, Rae

Michael the owner is a pleasure to deal with. Great location and view of the entire beach and pool area. This area of the beach is beautiful with no corral to cut your feet on, just nice sand and easy access to the beach. Thank you Michael for allowing us the stay!

The condo and resort was perfect for my family! It was our first trip to RP and I have to say it was AWESOME! The condo is very very clean and has EVERYTHING you need. The view is perfect from the 2nd floor and the resort staff and security made your stay feel safe and welcoming. The owner was very responsive and helpful. We would love to stay at this condo again.

The property is managed very well, kept in order by staff, quick to respond to any requests or concerns. Beautiful sea view, wonderful amenities, and very well priced. This unit had everything we needed, and was clean, comfortable, and accommodating.

Great location, the view is very nice directly in front on the pool-bar. Small unit but nice. It is a 1 bedroom so it was as expected. I will definitely stay here again. Thank you!

The condo is nice and the view was awesome. It is right by the stairs which made it very easy to go up down to the beach and restaurants. The only problem we had is with the security door, it was hard to open but other than that we had an amazing time. This condo had everything we needed. Very clean, comfortable and accommodating. Amazing place! Our Honeymoon was a great time there. We wish to come back again someday. It's probably the best place in Mexico! You will enjoy the place, the food, the nice beach of this resort. Romantic place!

Loved the location of the room, only a short walk to the lobby and the pool!

The property was clean with an outstanding view of the ocean. We are elderly and can no longer participate in all the water sports but had a ringside seat for watching.

Great Room! Excellent view of pool and beach! Lots of sleeping room with the pull down bed and sofa sleeper. Easy access being on the 2nd floor and right at the top of the stairs. The hotel is by far the best too. The pool swim up bar is open all day and has food, drinks and Happy hour specials. They also play a variety of music to keep the fun going. Nice store on property that is not overpriced, they carry beer, drinks, ice, eggs, chirizo, chips and lot of other things. Easy check in and easy check out. I'll be staying in this room again.

Location is fantastic! Literally 20 steps to the gym and maybe 150 steps to a lounge chair by the heated pool. The view is glorious and this was a nice quiet unit.

The place was really great for me and two friends! Since we’re in a pandemic we wanted something suitable to our needs and this resort had it all! beach front, pools, coffee shop, and a restaurant/bar!

We are a young family with a kiddo under 5. It was our first trip to Mexico and the space made it feel comfortable for the little one. The bed was amazing. The view from the second floor was great. Would definitely book with this host again.

Great Resort - The location of the unit is perfect! Close to the stairs at the end of the hall so you avoid The wait for the elevator which is slow. The balcony view is amazing for sunset. Room was very clean and well stocked. A home away from home.

Breath taking view - My family have stayed in this condo numerous times, we love it! It has everything that we need, and is very clean. The bed is very comfortable. The view is beautiful, as I’m having my morning coffee I seen dolphins swimming by.. We will we staying there again, we are already planning for June.

Amazing - Had to wait 2 years to finally take our sisters weekend but it was totally worth it. The owner of the property is easy to communicate with and responds quickly to questions. The room was clean and the view was endless. We loved it! Thank you!!!

R&R on the beach - Great Sandy Beach location! Condo was comfortable, I made most meals in and kitchen was well equipped. Loved sitting on the patio over looking the pool and the beach. Only left the resort a couple of times for parasailing and dinner out one evening. We happened upon a bar with the BEST margaritas in town, a proper margarita! Place was called Skully’s, check it out if you are a margarita fan. Overall, trip was super fun and relaxing. Will return!

Awesome - It was clean. Nice view of the beach. The staff was friendly. Beach was easy to get to from our room. And the pool bar had awesome drinks.

Awesome condo - This was our 2nd time staying in this condo and you cannot beat the view and location. The owner is awesome to work with and responds quickly with any questions. The resort staff is awesome and so friendly. We are planning on booking another trip soon and staying in the same condo. The bed is very comfy and the towels are over sized and thick which is nice. We cannot wait for our next trip to Rocky Point.

Fantastic Beach and place - This is the loveliest beach ever and the Sea of Cortez is a gift to humanity! We had so much fun going whale watching, swimming in the warmed pool, walking the beach every morning and searching tidepools for shells and creatures. Michael's place is very convenient on the second floor with great views and access to the Sea. We all loved it and would definitely stay again.

I can’t say enough about the resort and this condo. The condo and resort had everything you’d need if you didn’t want to leave the resort and explore. We didn’t do any cooking but there was everything you needed. There was even a wine opener. The AC was nice and cold when we arrived. Which was really nice because in September it pretty warm. If you arrive too early they will still go over everything and give you wristbands so you can enjoy the grounds. Wonderful pools which I saw being cleaned every morning. Beautiful kept grounds. You can have service throughout your stay or not. Check in was super easy. The beach was wonderful! The beach area right in front of the resort is nicely racked up every morning. All staff was super helpful. The restaurant on site is soooooo good! One of our favorite things about the condo was also the location. It had enough privacy but was still close to everything on the resort for east quick access to everything. We’ll definitely be looking to stay at this specific condo during our next stay.

Michael’s condo at Sonoran Sea Resort exceeded my expectations. The place was clean and comfortable. The view out the back onto the Gulf of California was beautiful. Coming and going by car, in and out of the resort area, was simple and convenient. The pool, beach, hot tub, and gym were excellent. The resort staff were quite friendly, to-the-point, and accommodating. Michael was extremely helpful in terms of providing information on directions, local attractions, and general advice for my time in Rocky Point. Highly recommended!
